FISHING REPORT – AUGUST 30, 2012
Fish is HOT right now!! We saw good numbers of White Marlin released as well as Tuna and Dolphin. Capt. Dale Lisi at the helm of the “Foolish Pleasures” returned with 4 BIG Yellow fin Tuna, 17 Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) and 3 White Marlin releases. The “Foolish Pleasures” was fishing DEEP in the Poor Mans as only Capt. Dale would. ARG!!! Capt. Jeremy Blunt aboard the “Samurai I” returned with 6 White Marlin releases caught in the Wilmington. Capt. Ed Kaufman on the “Jade II” came back with 5 Dolphin and 4 White Marlin releases also fishing in the Poor Mans. Capt. Jason Genthner running the “Tighten Up” arrived at the dock with 3 White Marlin releases caught in the Wilmington. Capt. Rob Skillman on the “Moore Bills” fishing also in the Wilmington, released a White Marlin. Aboard on of our private boats, “Empty Pockets” the crew released 6 Blue fin Tuna, a White Marlin and returned with Dolphin. They too were in the Poor Mans. All boats reported seeing lots of White and Blue Marlin. As you can see, the Tuna and Dolphin are still around too! Fishing in the bay is still going good. The “Bay Bee” reports many throwback Flounder and a few keepers as well as Croakers.
