The fishing seemed to pick up a little bit today across the board. While trolling at the canyons today the “Blood Sweat, and Tears” with Captain Jeremy Blunt landed a nice 164 pound big eye tuna along with some yellow fin tuna and blue line tile. A white marlin was released among the many gaffer dolphin that were landed on the “Foolish Pleasures” with Captain Dale Lisi. (photo) The “Bill$ 4 Bills” with Captain Mike Conner returned today from an overnight with 3 yellow fin tuna and reported 2 shark releases. A nice 76 pound wahoo and a 49 pound yellow fin were landed on the “Game On” with Captain John Yost today while he was trolling at the canyons. More white marlin were released on the “Playmate” with Captain Jeremy Shandrowski and the “Moore Bills” with Captain Rob Skillman. One of our transients also released 2 whites while fishing off the coast today. One of the most impressive fishing trips today came off of the “Morning Star” with Captain Monty Hawkins who limited out on keeper flounder while fishing the wrecks and reefs today, that is 100 flounder!! The flounder were caught alongside some keeper sea bass and throwbacks of both species. Also fishing inshore today was Captain Dave Wentling on the “Instigator” who returned from his half day trip with plenty of Bonita, false albacore, and bluefish! (photo). As always Captain Mark Sampson released a variety of shark species during his 1/2 day inshore trip today. While the offshore and inshore fishing seemed to pick up today so did the bay fishing. On his morning trip Captain Nick Clemente returned with 7 keeper flounder and some throwbacks. (photo) Captain Mikey Walsh on the “Bay Bee” had a similar day today with a keeper flounder in the morning and 3 keepers in the afternoon along with throwbacks! Overall the fishing right now seems to be improving! Book your trip with Ocean City’s Premier Charter Fleet today!
