We apologize for the delay in the posts but we have been busy as the season begins to pick up! The past few days have been filled with reports of flounder, drum, bluefish, and throwback rockfish off of the “Get Sum” with Captain Nick Clemente and the “OC Guide Service” with Captain John Prather. The “Get Sum” had a fantastic day of crabbing the other day and even managed to find a very nice 21′ flounder among all the crabs! (see photo) Captain Cale Layton on the “Bay Bee” continues to take his bay flounder trips and is returning with good numbers of throwbacks and some keepers!!! Two days ago Captain Dale Lisi on the “Foolish Pleasures” returned from a trip to the canyons with a 145 pound big eye tuna, a 40 pound yellow fin and a nice gaffer dolphin. (photo below) The Mako Mania began today and we anticipate high numbers of sharks. Good luck to all of our anglers fishing the tournament!
