While only a few of our boats fished today, they all returned with plenty of fish! The “Game Over” with Captain Steve Pfeffier returned today from a day of chunking at the Hot Dog with 5 yellow fin tuna. The tuna weighed a total of 229 pounds. Captain Dale Lisi on the “Foolish Pleasures” returned with 172 pounds of fish between 4 yellow fin tuna, and had 5 impressive sized dolphin. On the bay the “Get Sum” with Captain Nick Clemente had 4 keeper flounder (18″>) on his morning trip, and 2 on his evening trip. The remainder of his trips were filled with throwbacks, and crabs. The “Bay Bee” with Captain Cale Layton had a successful day full of very large throwback flounder; they unfortunately were not large enough to be keepers. The fishing is great right now, especially the offshore tuna bite! The only thing missing at the fishing center are the anglers!
