Although not too many boats fished today due to an unfortunate spell of bad weather despite the phenomenal tuna bite, it was still a good day for bay fishing. Captain Nick Clemente on the “Get Sum” fished the 8th Annual Kid’s classic today and returned with 3 nice keeper flounder, and held a leaderboard position when we were last updated. Among the 3 keepers were reports of large throwback flounder. The “Bay Bee” also had a good day with high numbers of throwbacks as well as a keeper flounder or two. Their evening trip with Captain Cale Layton managed to snag 3 keeper flounder. Make sure to visit us tomorrow, as a good number of our boats are scheduled to fish and the bite has been hot!
