As the summer heat rises we continue to see tuna return to the docks at the Ocean City Fishing Center.  Today Captain Rob Skillman on the “Moore Bills” took high hook returning with 11 yellow fin tuna that had a combined total “stringer” weight of 209 pounds. Aboard the “Last Call” with Captain Frank Pettolina a very nice blue fin was landed.  A similar day was had by Captain Wade Lober on the “Why Not” who also returned with a blue fin tuna.  Closer to the coast Captain Mark Sampson on the “Fish Finder” reported a busy morning of releasing multiple species of sharks. On the “Blood Sweat & Tears” with Captain Jeremy Blunt who took a ½ day inshore his customers returned happy with plenty of bluefish in the box and a dusky release.  Our number of keeper flounder continues to rise each day off of our bay fishing boats such as the “Bay Bee.” Captain Mikey Walsh on the “Bay Bee” returned from his morning trip with 5 keeper flounder and reports of throwbacks, his afternoon trip yielded 2 keeper flounder and 20 plus throwbacks. The “Get Sum” with Captain Cale Layton at the helm today returned from a morning of fishing and crabbing with a report of 1 keeper flounder among the throwbacks and a ½ bushel of crabs. Captain Cale reports an afternoon trip with 1 keeper flounder and more throwbacks. Overall this fishing seems to be consistent and it is hot, so don’t miss your opportunity to fish with Ocean City’s Premier Charter Fleet today!!!
