With the route 50 bridge stuck today for a good bit of time the fishing center saw a busy afternoon full of customers and fish! The “Husevo” with Captain Mark Robbins was the first from the fleet to return after their overnight which produced 2 very nice big eye. The big eye weighed in at 225 and 165 pounds, the larger of the two tuna snagged the leaderboard position! (see photo) Congrats to Captain Mark and his crew! Next to return was the “Fin-Ness” with Captain Butch Davis who returned with 2 very nice blue fin tuna, an impressive yellow fin and a few dolphin. Captain Rob Skillman on the “Moore Bills” was close behind and reported releasing 2 white marlin and returned with a long fin and a gaffer dolphin. Aboard the “Playtime” today Captain Ron Taylor had a very happy customer who was more than pleased to report the release of his first blue marlin, which was estimated to be 500 pounds and was accompanied by 2 gaffer dolphin. Another white marlin was released today on the “Wrecker” with Captain Jeremy Blunt who also returned to the dock with a gaffer dolphin and a substantial blue fin! On a make up charter today Captain Jon Yost of the “Game On” returned with a few dolphin. Four of our charters were on over nighters for a tournament being held this weekend and are expected to return tomorrow so stay posted for their reports! Bay flounder fishing was a great source of fun today between shuttling customers about the bay today! Captain Nick Clemente on the “Get Sum” had a good day today with keeper flounder and plenty of throwbacks! A similar catch report came from Captain John Prather on the “OC Guide Service”. Our bay flounder head boat the “Bay Bee” had private charter all throughout the day which catered to the customers wishes to cruise around, but while cruising the crew happened upon a few flounder. Right now the fishing is beginning to pick up and we need anglers! Don’t miss your opportunity to fish with Ocean City’s Premier Charter fleet and book your trip today!!!
