July 3, 2012 Tuna are everywhere!

We apologize for the delay in posting our fishing report, we were just too busy counting and cleaning fish yesterday! High hook today goes to Captain Jason Genthner on the “Tighten Up” who had a phenomenal day of fishing returning to the dock with 20 plus dolphin, 7 yellow fin tuna, and a blue fin. (see photo below)The “Moore Bills” also had a fantastic day returning with 16 yellow fin and happy customers.  Aboard the “Why Not” Captain Wade Lober was at the helm and led his crew to two yellow fin and a white marlin. On the “Fish Finder” Captain Mark Sampson returned with reports of releasing spinner, and dusky sharks. It was a big day on the “Get Sum” with Captain Nick Clemente who limited out on flounder (3/person/day 18″>) for a total of 12  nice keepers on his morning trip, which were accompanied by crabs and clams. His evening trip had 2 keepers as well as some crabs. The “Bay Bee” with Captain Mikey Walsh also had a total of 3 keepers and plenty of throwbacks today, in fact today was a record day for throwbacks so far this year! Fishing is heating up just in time for the fourth! Spend your day on the water and your night watching the fireworks at Micky Fins with great food and drinks!
