Today was an unfortunate weather day for our offshore fleet. Early this morning we experienced some severe storms that put a damper on the fishing. Regardless we still had four boats leave today, and all returned with fish! The “Reel Addiction” with Captain Ron Calis left just before the storms this morning in his search for tilefish. The early start was beneficial and provided the crew with 12 beautiful tilefish. A little further inshore Captain Monty Hawkins aboard the “Morning Star” saw good numbers of black sea bass and flounder. Flounder seem to have returned to the bay and in good numbers and sizes. Captain Nick Clemente on the bay private charter the “Get Sum” returned from his morning trip with 6 keeper flounder (17″>), and his afternoon with 1 keeper both trips also had high numbers of throwback flounder as well. On the bay fishing head boat the “Bay Bee” Captain Mikey Walsh had a spectacular afternoon with 3 keeper flounder, with a report of plenty of throwbacks between both trips. Overall the fishing has been phenomenal; do not miss your opportunity to fish with Ocean City's Premier Charter Fleet today!
