OFFSHORE: A majority of our boats that caught tuna today reported fishing at the Hot Dog. While we didn’t see as high of numbers hitting the docks all of the captain’s reported plenty of tuna action today. The “Reel Attitude” with Captain Terry Murray was the first to arrive back at the docks. He had 3 tuna and 2 dolphin but reported releasing plenty of others, including Gavin Murray’s first tuna! Congrats Gavin! The “Wrecker” with Captain Jeremy Blunt had a busy day today with 5 yellow fin and 2 dolphin, he was also fishing at the Hot Dog. Captain Franky Pettolina on the “Last Call” returned with 3 yellow fin tuna and 2 large dolphin and released a mako. On the “Husevo” Captain Mark Radcliffe made a guest appearance and lead his crew to 2 yellow fin and 2 dolphin today. The “Muff Diver” with Captain Wayne Bradford also left today and returned to report a yellow fin and a dolphin. On the “Bill$ 4 Bills” Captain Ron Calis never disappoints and reported high numbers of golden line tilefish and seabass as well as a dolphin on his trip today. One of our private boats the “Fugitive” had a phenomenal day today and released a white marlin, had 2 yellow fin, 4 dolphin, and reported releasing more tuna! INSHORE: Flounder have definitely showed back up in the bay and our bay fisherman are quite happy! The “Bay Bee” with Captain Cale Layton had a keeper in the morning and 5 in the afternoon but enough throwbacks to keep customers satisfied! Captain John Prather on the “OC Guide Service” had a great day today and had 6 keepers on his afternoon trip and 8 in the evening! On the “Get Sum” Captain Nick Clemente also caught keepers and throwbacks all day long!
