On this beautiful September day a majority of our reports were comprised of marlin releases and dolphin. The “Wrecker” took high hook for the day with 5 white marlin releases, and returned with 7 dolphin today after fishing at the Poorman’s canyon. Close behind was the “All In” with Captain Joe who returned with 4 white marlin releases. With Captain Mike Motes the “Game Changer” also returned with 4 white marlin releases. The “Last Call” with Captain Franky Pettolina brought back 4 nice dolphin today after fishing at the Rockpile. At the Washington today Captain Jeremy Shandrowski on the “Playmate” managed to land 3 very nice gaffer dolphin. The “Bill$ 4 Bills” had an impressive day today with Captain Ron Calis at the helm. The crew returned with 22 blue line tile fish, 12 sea bass, and 3 black fin tuna and reported releasing a few other fish throughout the day! More tile fish were caught about the “Husevo” with Captian Mark Robbins who returned with 33 blue line tile fish, 17 sea bass, and a gaffer dolphin. Captain Ed Kauffman on the “Jade II” who returned with over 300 pounds of dolphin yesterday returned today with 2 dolphin, but they were of a great size and will taste just the same in fish tacos! One of our private boats “Amanda’s Mayhem” with Captain Elliot Pomeranz released a white marlin and returned with 17 dolphin. The crews aboard the “Salt Lick” and the “Skirt Chaser” also had a successful day with dolphin. Closer to shore Captain Mark Sampson on the “Fish Finder” did not disappoint and reported releasing a variety of shark species today! In the bay the water has been a little dirty and we have been fighting the tides to get in some good flounder fishing, never the less, the “Bay Bee” continues to run. Today Captain Cale Layton regretted to inform us that he did not have any keeper flounder, yet he had plenty of throwbacks between his three trips. The “Ocean City Guide Service” with Captain John Prather proved that there are a few keeper flounder to be had among the slew of throwbacks, and returned with a keeper on their morning trip as well as a few croakers. The fish are here but we need anglers!!! Book your trip today and don’t miss your opportunity to fish with Ocean City’s Premier Charter Fleet!!
