August 5, 2008... Day 2 of WMO!!!!

With the second day of the White Marlin open complete we had a change to our leader board for white marlin releases. “Playmate” slid into first with a total of 8 white marlin releases for the year. “Press Time” is now in second and only trailing by one. A majority of our boats have caught and released marlin this week as they were not large enough to kill. “MoJo” had 2 white releases today along with “Playmate” and “Press Time.” While the “Last Call” is not participating in the White Marlin Open, they did take a make-up charter today and had great success. They released one white marlin, tagged three others, released a blue, and had about 6 dolphin, all just south of the Poor Mans Canyon. The “About Time” one of our season slip holders had a blue marlin release that weighed an estimated 350-400 pounds. Many of our boats are participating in the White Marlin Open so keep an eye out for one of the elite. ;
