The wind has left and the fish are here. We had a few boats venture offshore today, some are fishing the big fish classic and are remaining offshore overnight! Stay tuned for a report!!!
Captain Ron Callis aboard the “Bill$ 4 Bills” had brought 2 bluefin tuna, and yellowfin and some mahi back in the box today. The “Spring Mix II” with Captain Chris Watokowski returned with a yellow fin and some mahi in the box. The “Game Over” reported some blue fin action. White marlin seem to be showing up as well. The “Instigator” with Captain Josh Wentling returned to the dock today to report releasing a white malrin and had some mahi in the box.
In the bay Captain John Prather on the “OC Guide Service” had a successful morning returning with 2 keeper flounder; his afternoon trip was also successful with plenty of keeper croakers. Our bay flounder headboat with Captain Cale Layton reported throwbacks between both of its trips today!
