Today was the first day of the white marlin open and we had a majority of our boats fish, and most reported seeing Marlin while fishing. One of our boats the “Jade II” is not fishing the tournament but had a good day today returning with a blue fin tuna 2 yellow fin and a dolphin. The private boat the “Stress-Reel-ief” reported releasing a nice sized blue marlin today that was estimated to be around 450 pounds. Closer to shore the “Fish Finder” with Captain Mark Sampson reported releasing a variety of shark species while fishing inshore. Bay fishing was pretty good today. The “Bay Bee” with Captain Mikey Walsh had a fantastic morning with 7 keeper flounder and throwbacks. Captain Mikey reported heavy flounder action today. Captain Nick Clemente on the “Get Sum” had a keeper for each trip for a total of three among the high number of throwbacks that Captain Nick reported.
