Over the past few days the shark fishing has really picked up. Captain Mark Sampson on the “Fish Finder” has been releasing high numbers of blue sharks; some thresher one est. at 300 pounds and several makos a few est. at 120 pounds and SPOT tagged! Two of our customers Jim Bunting and Justin Lednum weighed in a nice sized thresher last night at 337 pounds, congrats! In the bay early season flounder fishing has been great. Captain Jon Prather on the “OCGS” had over 8 large keepers between two days, some rockfish and bluefish! Now is the time to book your trip for memorial day weekend!
