Happy Father’s day to all of the dad’s in the fishing community! We had a few of our boats fishing today and almost all returned with fish. The “Playtime” with Captain Ron Taylor was the first to return from the fleet returning with 3 nice gaffer dolphin. More dolphin were seen off of the “Wrecker” with Captain Jeremy Blunt at the helm. The heaviest of the 3 dolphin weighed in at 28 pounds and was accompanied by 2 nice sized yellow fin tuna. Captain Jon Yost on the “Game On” had a good day of fishing and also returned with three nice gaffer dolphin. Don’t be fooled sharks are still being caught and Captain Fred Husman on the “Game Changer” demonstrated that when he returned with a mako and reported several other shark releases. With Captain Mark Sampson at the helm the “Fish Finder” released a variety of shark species today including sandbar and dusky. Bay fishing is still continuing to pick up and Captain Cale Layton on the head boat that “Bay Bee” had a few keepers and plenty of throwbacks between his three trips today. Both Captain Nick Clemente of the “Get Sum” and Captain John Prather of the “OC Guide Service” had similar days as well. With beautiful weather offshore the next few days and the fish here we anticipate high numbers of nice looking fish. Now is the time to book your charter with Ocean City’s Premier Charter fleet!
