While the wind was still blowing a few of our boats braved the weather today and proved to have a good deal of success! The “Blood Sweat and Tears” with Captain Jeremy Blunt had a fantastic afternoon and returned with 2 bluefin tuna weighing in at 49 and 133 pounds. The bluefin were followed by some bluefish and nice sized dolphin (see photo below). Tuna still seem to be in here which is good news as the Ocean City Tuna Tournament held at the Ocean City Fishing Center begins next week! The “Morning Star” our inshore wreck and reef headboat also had some luck today with the black sea bass. Captain Mikey Walsh on the “Bay Bee” reported only throwbacks between his two trips today. On the “Get Sum” more throwback flounder were seen however a good deal of crabs were caught and customers returned happy. He has yet to return from his evening trip but has reported 3 keepers and throwbacks so far. We have now gotten together two make up trips and still have spaces available for the upcoming weeks!!!
