As April comes to a close the flounder fishing has just begun. Aboard the bay headboat the “Bay Bee” Captain Mikey Walsh returned with 7 keepers, the largest measuring 18 inches, after his afternoon trip. On a private boat Chuck “Superchuck” Wenzel also searched for the elusive flounder and had success, returning with a nice keeper. Superchuck snagged the flatty near Harbor Island with a bucktail, minnow combination. The wreck fishing hasn't slowed either, Captain Mark Hoos Jr. had 12 nice keeper taugtog while fishing at Russels reef on his private boat the “Impatient” this afternoon.
