Just when everyone thought the fishing season was coming to an end, our charter boat Captains surprised us all today. The “Last Call” with Captain Franky Pettolina returned late this evening from an overnighter at the Norfolk Canyon with an outrigger full of flags! The crew released 5 white marlin, a swordfish, a blue marlin and returned with a wahoo, and 7 nice dolphin. The “Jade II” with Captain Ed Kaufman returned with 8 dolphin after trolling inside the Poorman's Canyon. While fishing at the Norfolk Canyon Captain Rob Skillman on the “Moore Bills” returned reporting 6 white marlin releases. Aboard the “Reel Addiction” with Captain Ron Callis 2 wahoo were brought back to the docks today. On the bay this morning Captain Nick Clemente had 2 keeper flounder with high numbers for tog, sheepshead, and flounder throwbacks.
