FISHING REPORT September 7, 2012
While the offshore forecast did not look spectacular today some of our captains took the risk for an unpleasant day; all were rewarded with fantastic days of fishing as well as decent weather! The “Foolish Pleasures” with Captain Dale Lisi returned a little early today after a short trip to the jack spot but had a 25 pound dolphin, and a few other smaller dolphin….Captain Steve Pfeiffer on the “Game Over” had an exceptional day in the Washington for releases today. The crew released a blue marlin, 3 white marlin and a great white shark on their trip today. A total of 4 white marlin were released, also in the Poor Mans, on the “Samurai I” with Captain Jeremy Blunt while trolling. Aboard the “Fish Bonz” Captain Mark Radcliffe, fishing all over the ocean, led his charter to good numbers of fish today releasing 2 white marlin, and returning with 35 or so Black Sea Bass, and 20 beautiful tilefish! Captain Jon on the “Game On” also had a successful day and released a white marlin. The “Bay Bee” with Captain Mikey Walsh who reported good numbers of throwbacks and few keeper flounder between his two trips today. Don't forget that the 11th annual Spot Tournament is this Tuesday. Registration begins at 4pm at the Ocean City Fishing Center! Come down and participate in this fun tournament!!!
