It was a hot day today, as the temperatures rose the numbers of fish did as well. The “Playtime” with Captain Ron Taylor returned to the docks today with 2 blue fin tuna one measuring 51″ and the other at 46″. Captain Chad Meeks on the “All In” had a great day of fishing with a white marlin release, a gaffer dolphin, and 6 yellow fin. Aboard the “Samurai I” Captain Jeremy Blunt returned with 7 yellow fin tuna, and a white marlin release as well as happy customers(see photo). On the “Tighten Up” Captain Jason Genthner led his crew to 7 nice yellow fin tuna and a gaffer dolphin. Nine yellow fin tuna were slid onto the to docks behind the “Moore Bills” with Captain Rob Skilman. More tuna were seen on the “Foolish Pleasures” with Captain Dale Lisi who returned with 4 yellow fin tuna and reported a white marlin release. Our Bay fishing head boat the “Bay Bee” with Captain Mikey Walsh had a good morning with 3 keepers and a new record for throwback flounder (<18″) for the summer. Their numbers continued to rise into the afternoon. Captain Nick Clemente on the bay private charter the “Get Sum” returned from his morning trip with 4 keepers, and plenty of throwbacks which were accompanied by crabs.
