Today was yet another excellent day at the Fishing Center. One of our boats the “Why Not” with Captain Wade Lober is currently in the 1st place leaderboard position for wahoo and the blue marlin categories in the Mid Atlantic 500. Congrats to Captain Wade and his crew. In addition to his winning wahoo Captain Wade also released 3 white marlin today. Inshore Captain Mark Samspson on the “Fish Finder” caught a variety of species today including bluefish, sea trout, and a dusky shark. In the bay flounder fishing has remained steady and the croaker fishing has seemed to pick up a little. The “Bay Bee” with Captain Mikey Walsh had a few keeper flounder a good number of keeper croaker and plenty of throwbacks between his three trips today. On the bay private charter the “Get Sum” Captain Nick Clemente led his crew to 2 keeper flounder in the afternoon and a keeper croaker in the evening all accompanied by an abundance of throwbacks.
