OFFSHORE: Late yesterday afternoon Captain Rob Skillman on the “Moore Bills” left to take an overnight and returned with 2 big eye and some yellow fin. One of the big weighed in at 226 pounds. (see photo) Today was a day for dolphin. The “Bill$ 4 Bills” with Captain Ron Callis returned with 12 tilefish and a nice gaffer dolphin. Captain Jeremy Blunt on the “Wrecker” reported 5 gaffer dolphin. A similar report was given by Captain Tery on the “Reel Attitude” who also had some smaller tuna as well. INSHORE: In the bay our Captains are still weeding through ample throwback flounder in search of keepers. The “Bay Bee” with Captain Cale Layton returned to report throwbacks and a few keepers between his three trips. On the “Get Sum” Captain Nick Clemente reported throwbacks as well. Last but not least Captain John Prather on the “OC Guide Service” also had a similar report with 2 keepr flounder and some rays in the afternoon! While today was not the most exciting the last few have been and we anticipate a busy weekend with a hot tuna bite!
