Today was a great day for offshore fishing. Captain Jim aboard “Bills 4 Bills” came back to the docks today with an astonishing big eye tuna weighing a total of 304lbs. He received the high hook award for the day. Along with his great fishing today, Captain Jeremy Blunt, running the “Samurai” released 1 white, and 1 blue marlin. He also brought in 12 dolphins, 1 wahoo and released a mako shark, receiving most species caught for the day. Another boat, “Playtime,” ran by Captain Ron Taylor had an interesting dive trip today bringing back lobster, tautog, and flounder. Captain Rob Skillman aboard “Moore Bills” released 2 whites, and 1 blue marlin. “Playmate,” being run by Captain Jeremy Shandrowski, released 1 white marlin, and reeled in 1 yellow fin tuna and 1 dolphin. Reeling in 2 yellow fin tunas were boats, “All In” Captained by Chad Meeks, and “Game On” run by Captain Dan. Charter boat “Reel Addiction,” came back today with 3 dolphins, and running “Jade 2,” Captain Ed Kauffman reeled in 3 yellow fin tunas. Last but not least for our off shore charter boats, Captain Dale Lisi on “Foolish Pleasures” came back with 1 yellow fin tuna, and 1 dolphin. Bay fishing today was also pretty productive. Our flounder boat the, “Bay Bee” captained by Mikey Walsh had in the morning 12 throw backs, and 2 keepers. In the afternoon trip they had 10 throwbacks, and 1 keeper. Nick Clemente, running “Get Sum” came back to the docks with 2 keepers from the morning trip, 1 from the afternoon, and 2 keepers on the evening trip. Captain Nick and Mate Lizzie also had many throwbacks throughout the day. Captain Monty Hawkins running, “Morning Star,” had his typical great day bringing in many flounder and Sea Bass.
