Offshore forecasts today kept the fleet from fishing at the canyons today. However inshore fishing was manageable and Captain Monty Hawkins on the “Morning Star” reported a good day of sea bass fishing! Finally after a few days of less than ideal conditions we were able to get out and fish the bays. Captain Cale Layton on the “Bay Bee had an afternoon trip that consisted of throwback flounder and plenty of smiles! On the “Get Sum” Captain Nick Clemente had a great morning today with 9 keepers. It seemed to be that maybe the tide was in the afternoon or the water cleared up because his afternoon trip had 11 keepers. (see photos) The hot ticket for flounder seems to be Gulp! of the pearl white variety. Don’t miss your opportunity to fish with Ocean City’s Premier Charter fleet book your trip today. Remember fishing trips make great graduation and father’s day gifts!!!
