Just like yesterday a majority of our boats left later in the morning so a good number of the boats in the fleet had not returned when the report was published. The “Game Changer” with Captain Fred Husman returned from an over nighter today with some yellow fin tuna. Captain Dave Wentling on the “Instigator” returned from a donated trip to QDMA with his limit of dolphin which weighed in for a total of about 150 pounds.(photo)Captain Dale Lisi had a good day on the “Foolish Pleasures” and returned with 9 yellow fin tuna. More yellow fin were brought back by Captain Mark Radcliffe who returned with 3 yellow fin and a nice gaffer. The “Reel Addiction” with Captain Ron Callis returned from fishing with 8 yellow fin, and some nice dolphin. (photo). Captain Jeremy Shandrowski on the “Playmate” returned today with a box full of yellow fin (9) and happy customers! The remainder of our offshore fleet had yet to return from fishing when we printed so check back tomorrow for their reports, sure to be full of tuna. Closer to shore at the wrecks and the reefs the flounder bite seems to be holding steady. The “Game On” with Captain John Yost took a 1/2 day inshore today and returned with 10 keeper flounder, reported 100 sea bass releases, and a grey trout. The “Morning Star” with Captain Monty Hawkins is also continuing to catch flounder in high numbers. The bay flounder fishing seemed to slow the past day or two, but Captain Nick Clemente on the “Get Sum” proved that to be incorrect. On his morning trip he reported throwbacks, and in the afternoon he returned with 5 keeper flounder! (photo). The “Bay Bee” with Captain Cale Layton also had high numbers of throwback flounder today. Right now the fishing is great! The tuna bite is hot and will hopefully stay that way! Don’t miss your opportunity to fish with Ocean City’s Premier book your trip today!
