Today 3 blue marlin were released out of the marina and a total 10 white marlin were released between the fleet and our private boats. The “Foolish Pleasures” with Captain Dale Lisi released a blue marlin today that he estimated around 600 pounds, and returned home with 6 impressive dolphin. The second blue marlin was seen off of the private boat the “Tie One On” there was no estimated weight reported. The third and final blue marlin was released on the private boat the “Karen Lynn” who has stayed with us for the past 2 months and is departing tomorrow, the crew certainly went out with a bang! While trolling at the Poor Man's Canyon Captain Jeremy Blunt returned with a report of 2 white marlin releases. The private boat the “Salt Lick” also took a different approach to fishing today and returned home with 19 beautiful tile fish. While the ocean has been producing good numbers of marlin, and still some decent sized tuna the bay is turning out great numbers of fish!
