OFFSHORE: Today we are happy to report that the “Wrecker” with Captain Jeremy Blunt took a crew of employees from the fishing center and released 4 white marlin and returned with a few dolphin. All four whites were firt marlin for Emily, Veronica, West, and Nate! Nice job guys. Captain Ron Callis on the “Bill$ 4 Bills” took a makeup charter today and returned with 38 dolphin, 9 sea bass and 19 blue line tilefish. The heaviest seabass weighed in at 3.1 pounds. On a full day inshore on the “Last Call” Captain Franky Petolina had had 15 blue sharks and released a few others along with some seabass. INSHORE/BAY: Reccently the flounder bite has been best at the wrecks and the reefs but the bay flounder fishing is starting to pick back up; evident by the keeper and plenty of throwbacks reported by Captain Cale Layton on the “Bay Bee” today. On a wreck trip Captain Nick Clemente on the “Ivy Sea” had a spectacular morning and returned with 14 keeper flounder! Labor day weekend is a great time to fish with us!
