Calm after the storm. 06/18/12

While the skies were slightly overcast, and the water not as great as it could be our boats still ventured out in the search of fish.Captain Jason Genthner on the “Tighten Up” had an exceptional day with 6 yellow fin tuna after a full day offshore and earned high hook for the day. Inshore on the “Fish Finder” Captain Mark Sampson released a few species of sharks including a spinner. On the “Morning Star” Captain Monty Hawkins had a great day filling coolers with plenty of Sea Bass at 12.5 inches and above as well as some flounder. Bay fishing has started getting better again. Aboard the private bay fishing boat the “Get Sum” Captain Nick Clement had a total of 4 keepers( 17″>), a bushel of crabs, and plenty of throwbacks between his two trips today. The “Bay Bee” our bay fishing head boat also had a decent day with a keeper and a good number of throwbacks.Yesterday Captain Dale Lisi on the “Foolish Pleasures” took an offshore trip and returned with 7 yellow fin tuna and 3 gaffer dolphin . Right now the tuna fishing has gotten red hot, and will hopefully stay that way. Don't miss your opportunity to fish with Ocean City's Premier Charter fleet today, its a great way to start the summer!
