OFFSHORE: A few of our boats are leaving for later trips today, to try and catch a later bite! However, a few of our larger offshore boats took inshore trips today and only ran a little ways of the beach! Captain Dale Lisi on the “Foolish Pleasures” had a fantastic day today and reutrned with 3 yellow fin, two gaffers and released plenty of other tunas! Enough to wear out the crew. The ” Last Call” with Captain Franky Pettolina had a good day with one of our make-up charters and returned with 5 yellow fin tuna for a total stringer weight of 105 pounds. The crew also returned witha few dolphin in a box that was a total of about 20 pounds! On an afternoon trip Captain Mark Radcliffe on the “Husevo” had a productive afternoon filled with skipjack tuna and a nice gaffer dolphin. Captain Butch on the “Jade II” returned with some small tuna, and some dolphin and smiles all around!!! On a wreck trip the “Wrecker” with Captain Jeremy Blunt had plenty of bluefish to satisfy everyone on the trip! INSHORE: On the bay flounder head boat the “Bay Bee” Captain Cale Layton took both of his trips today and returned to report throwbacks across the both. In the back bays today Captain John Prather returned this afternoon reporting throwback flounder, houndfish, and rays. One of the rays weighed in a 92 pounds and was caught while bow fishing! On a 1/2 day wreck trip Captain Nick Clemente on the “Get Sum” returned with 6 keeper flounder in the morning staying inside the back bays for his afternoon produced a keeper flounder among ample throwback flounder.
