A few boats went fishing today. Capt. Wade Lober on the “Why Not” came back with 3 Yellow fin Tuna and 1 Dolphin. Capt. Jason Genthner aboard the “Tighten Up” returned with another Big Eye Tuna and 2 Yellow fin Tuna. Capt. Mark Sampson on the “Fish Finder” released 2 Atlantic Sharp-nosed Sharks and caught 2 Sea bass and 2 Trigger fish. Capt. Cale Layton on the “Bay Bee” caught 2 keepers in the morning and 7 keepers in the afternoon. They also release many throwback Flounder.
Don’t forget, this weekend is the 25th Annual Ocean City Tuna Tournament, July 13 – 15, 2012. Weigh-ins daily starting at 4PM. Get here early and check out our venders and to get a good spot to watch the weigh-ins. Free parking in the OC Park & Ride lot and free shuttle to tournament from there.
