Today was the first day of the “Mako Mania” held at Bahia marina. A few of our boats are registered and are doing well. One of our private boats the “Talkin' Trash” is currently in second place with a 183 pound mako, Congrats! The “Moore Bills” with Captain Rob Skillman also returned with a 90 pound mako, 2 mako releases, and 12 blue shark releases. Captain Jeremy Shandrowski on the “Playmate” had successful day fishing for tuna returning with 2 yellow fin and a 135 pound big eye. Captain Jeremy Blunt of the “Wrecker” had not returned when this report went to press, but we will be sure to update you! After a few days of heavy wind in the bay the “Bay Bee” with Captain Cale Layton finally managed to get out for a morning trip and reported releasing some flounder!
