While not as many boats left the marina today there was no shortage of fish! The “Playmate” with Captain Jeremy Shandrowski returned with a yellowfin that weighed in at 75 pounds and reported some nice action while trolling at the canyons. “Reel Addiction” with Captain Ron Callis returned with 2 yellowfin today. Captain Ron Taylor on the “Playtime” returned today with 3 yellowfin tuna and a dolphin today. One of our private boats the “Amanda Mayhem” with Captain Elliot Pomeranz returned with a nice yellowfin tuna brought in by Amanda Pomeranz. The “Jade II” returned from an inshore trip with 10 bluefish and 3 Bonita. Bay fishing seemed to pick up just a little today. The private boat the “Strees Relief” with Captain Todd Dickerson returned from a great day of fishing with 4 red belly rose fish, 22 tilefish and 18 dolphin, way to go guys!!! Captain Nick Clemente on the “Get Sum” returned from his morning trip with a keeper flounder, crabs and clams. The “Bay Bee” with Captain Mikey Walsh also had 3 keeper flounder among a multitude of throwbacks on his morning trip. Fishing has picked up as summer has started and we need anglers!
