With beautiful weather and great fishing, it’s hard to believe we don’t have more boats fishing!! The “Jade II” with Captain Ed Kauffman returned with 33 dolphin for a total weight of 247 pounds. More dolphin, about 10 were also caught on the “Moore Bills” with Captain Rob Skillman who also released 2 blue marlin, and 3 white marlin today. Captain Jeremy Blunt on the “Wrecker” had a good day with 12 gaffer dolphin, as well as 4 white marlin releases. Dolphin were definitely the fish of the day today as Captain Dale Lisi also returned with about 16 dolphin, all of which were good gaffer size. Aboard the “Bill$ 4 Bills” Captain Ron Calis did not disappoint with 8 blackfin tuna, 2 dolphin, 4 blue line tile fish, and some sea bass! When we went to post the “Game On” with Captain Jon Yost and the “Fin Ness” with Captain Butch Davis had yet to return, stay posted for their reports as we will update as soon as we know! In the bay today all of our boats found some keeper flounder among the high numbers of throwbacks and croakers. The “Bay Bee” with Captain Cale Layton had a keeper on its morning trip and throwbacks for the remainder of the day. Captain Nick Clemente on the “Get Sum” ran the “Ivy Sea” out to the wrecks this morning and returned with 3 very nice keeper flounder and reported good numbers of throwbacks for the remainder of his trips. While the “OC Guide Service” took the morning off, Captain John Prather had an action packed afternoon with a “hot bluefish bite” a keeper flounder and plenty of throwback flounder and croaker to satisfy his customers!
