It was a great day for bay fishing today!! Our bay flounder fishing head boat the “Bay Bee” with Captain Cale Layton at the helm had a few keepers on their morning trip and 4 large keepers in the afternoon. The keepers ranged in sized from 16.5” -22” (see photo). The “Get Sum” with Captain Nick Clemente had an exciting afternoon filled with 6 very nice keeper flounder, among the throwbacks. Captain John Prather of the “Ocean City Guide Service” had a fantastic day with 3 keeper flounder in the morning, a keeper in the afternoon, and plenty of throwbacks. On his evening trip he had a report of some black drum by the bridge as well as some bluefish! One of our slip holders Jeff Valdiva had an exciting day at the African Queen where he snagged a personal record for a flattie. Jeff returned with 4 keeper flounder the largest at 22” and 3 pounds 12 ounces! (see photo) The only boat that ventured offshore today the “Jade II” with Captain Ed Kauffman returned with some yellow fin tuna and some dolphin. While there was not too much mention of tuna today, the fish are still here and biting, we are looking for anglers!
